Welcome

The South African Institute of Physics is delighted to host the 25th General Assembly and associated activities of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics in Cape Town from 24 to 28th October 2005. While the international community will be celebrating the International Year of Physics in 2005, the South African Institute of Physics will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary.
