Visiting Durban University of Technology, South Africa
KG Zloshchastiev's group at the Institute of Systems Science, Durban University of Technology, located in the city of Durban, South Africa, has a number of visiting positions. Visits are funded by various funding bodies of South Africa through the Durban University of Technology. The group is now working on several multi-disciplinary projects, listed here: http://bit.do/kgzprojects.
Current members of the group: Vladimir Dzhunushaliev (part-time, visiting professor), Michael Katkov (part-time, visiting professor), Ludmila Praxmeyer (part-time, honorary researcher).
The topics pursued presume large freedom in terms of applications, therefore, experts from different fields of theoretical physics and applied mathematics are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be expected to propose and/or lead the project, which will be an overlap of her/his research interests and those of the group. The minimal requirement for a visitor is a Master/PhD/Candidate degree. Applicants must send her/his CV, list of publications, and brief research proposal directly to Konstantin Zloshchastiev. Applications are considered on a continuous basis.
